We were friends in Wabash High School many years ago. He was a fun guy, and a great friend to all. We would see each other every 10 years or so in Rochester.
A good man, a great friend, I know he will be missed by many. God bless his family.

Deepest condolences for your loss. Elbert was a patron where I had worked in the past and I so enjoyed seeing him! I pray his memory shines brightly in your hearts.

Uncle Elb was ALWAYS the life of the party. Sad to think the only 1 left is Aunt Evelyn. The three of them, Evelyn, Jess & Elb had their last party living under the same roof. God Speed Uncle Elb.

I'm Cheryl (Bridegrooms) daughter, and I haven't seen Uncle Elbs grandchildren for a long time (we were all very small). I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you all. I am sure everyone who knew uncle Elb knew him for always laughing and smiling; I sure do. Prayers and hugs to you all.

Missy, Cindy, Shelly and Rick,

I think you guys know how much I loved uncle Elb. Who wouldn't! He was always a big part of my life growing up, after all, we shared the same birthday. After I moved away, he(they) were always on my list to go visit and take to breakfast. You have to admit he was a good eater. His heart was good and he loved you kids very much. He was fortunate to live a long life without too many illnesses, especially like aunt Mary. I am not able to come up for the funeral, so please accept my condolences and I will keep him and you in my prayers. May God bless you,

Your Cousin, Debbie

My sincere condolances to you all. I have fond memories of going to his house with Rick when we were teenagers. He & his wife were always so hospitable & welcoming! And he always made me smile with his joking around. Praying for comfort for all of you as you go through this painful loss.
