To all the family of Ernie, you have our sincere sympathy.
We knew him from all the fun things of the retirees of local 977.
Lionel took him an Amish Pie for his 96th birthday and we were counting the days until
he could enjoy another one. We were able to visit him on the 19th of September
and he just wasn't the "perky" Ernie, but is now at peace.

Ernie has been on our minds this past week...so sorry to find out he has passed. He was always good to Bud and they have been friends for many years...at Fisher Body, in LaFontaine, and recently by phone. Will always honk when passing the house.

Dear Karen and Nancy and all of Earnies Family,
What a long good life he had. So wonderful when we could enjoy our parents into the 90's. Just always hard to say good-by. May you each find comfort through God and all of your many fond memories of days gone by.
Hugs

We are so sorry about Ernie. We saw him at the Retirees' dinner and we were also together on some of the Retirees' trips. Always liked talking to him and thought he did so well. Didn't realize just what age he was until lately. Don worked at GM with him. We'll really miss him and altho we won't be able to go to the visitation or funeral our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

My dear sweet friend Karen I am sorry that you have this loss. It is always difficult to lose a parent. My prayer for you is of being surrounded by love and support to get you through these difficult days. I remember coming to your house to stay the night when your mom was alive and how sweet she was at dinner. Our dads worked together sometimes at Fisher Body. We share so many memories. Sending loving thoughts to you all.
