I'm just learning about the passing of this fine and special lady.I had the honor to get to know and enjoy her sence of humor at Walgreens in Marion.I have retired has of 2012 and have not had the honor of seeing her but boy did we have some laughs.I worked in the makeup department she came over just so she could say hello and talk for a bet.She never missed seeing her girl has she called me if i was there.If i was not she sure let me know how much she missed me when i wasn't.She is one of my customers that was so hard to leave they become family after 8years.So glad your at peace and with God and all that you have missed and have been waiting for you in The Gates of Heaven.See you when i get there.Sincerely your friend Terrie.

When I heard that your mom had passed many memories came flooding back. All good ones of days living in the great little town of Lafontaine. What a wonderful legacy Dad and Mom left for all of you! My mom (Ann) told me just today that she wondered how Betty was doing when she drove past her house and then she found she had passed. She said Betty had always greeted my dad every day he came to work at Harper Construction, hollering "Hi Phil!" Things you remember after someone is gone makes the hurt feel softer. Larry, Rich and Jane: You were blessed with some of the best parents kids ever get in life. A lot of us were. Tell God, "Thank You!" May He give you eternal peace. 💕

Betty had the sweetest spirit of almost anyone I ever met. We had a lot of good times in Florida. I remember when I was young she would cut my hair. A quiet lovely person that influenced a lot of people. The last time I talked to her she was having so much trouble breathing. She said," I am ready to go."
She is not having to struggle for each breathe now. Our sympathy to the family.
