Terry Gordon McDonald

Terry Gordon McDonald, 86, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 5:08 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Wabash, Indiana. He was born on February 16, 1939, to C. Rex McDonald and Ruth B. Leffler in West Baden Springs, Indiana.

Terry was a 1957 graduate of Wabash High School. He then served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Terry worked for NIPSCO (Northern Indiana Public Service Co.) for 32 years before retiring in 1994. He married Carol A. Dwyer on April 1, 1985. Terry was devoted to his wife for over 40 years and lived his life for his family and grandchildren each day. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Wabash, Indiana. He also held memberships with American Legion Post 15, Moose Lodge 1195, Hannah Lodge #61, Wabash Shrine, Mizpah Shrine, and Fort Wayne Scottish Rite. 

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Carol A. McDonald of Wabash, Indiana; three sons, Jon D. (Alison) McDonald of Wabash, Indiana, Scott L. (Mike Geer) Dwyer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, David L.(Mindy) Dwyer of Greenwood, Indiana; six grandchildren, Logan A. (Abby) McDonald, Reece M. (Whitney Millspaugh) McDonald, both of Wabash, Indiana, Dawson L. Dwyer, Davis N. Dwyer, Delaney A. Dwyer, all of Greenwood, Indiana, Cale Lundquist of Wabash, Indiana; one great-granddaughter, Aven McDonald of Wabash, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Doris McDonald, one son, Jay McDonald, one sister, Norma Vanloon, and one brother, Gene McDonald. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Brad Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the funeral home.
