Mary Jo Miley

Mary Jo Miley, 78 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 8:33 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on April 8, 1946, to Gene and Deloris (Kerr) Tait in Wabash, Indiana.

Mary Jo was a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana. She was a 1964 graduate of Wabash High School. Mary Jo worked at Ford Meter Box for many years in Wabash, Indiana, then later retired. She dedicated her time in assisting with the Relay for Life program. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and painting. Mary Jo loved attending car shows and demolition derby's, but family was the most important to her.

Mary Jo is survived by one son, Tony (Angie) Bowman of Wabash, Indiana; two daughters, Melinda (Tony) Adams, Deanna Bowman both of Wabash, Indiana; one brother Ed (Edna) Tait of Wabash, Indiana; six grandchildren, Miranda (Robbie Townsend) Adams, Levi (Tori) Bowman, William Adams, Christopher (Drue) Adams, Olivia (Jake) Moore, and June Adams; seven great-grandchildren; and one special friend, Dave Trisler. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Deloris Tait.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the funeral home.
