Kay L. Barrus

Kay L. Barrus, 76, of Urbana, Indiana passed away at 1:24 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on August 29, 1947, to Leo and Mariam (Lutz) Millman in Huntington, Indiana.

Kay is a graduate of Andrews High School. She worked at North Manchester Bindery. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, working on crossword puzzles, and watching soap operas. She was also an avid Nascar fan.

Kay is survived by one son, Rusty (Missy) Barrus of Urbana, Indiana; One daughter, Kimberly (Mark Maples) Schultz of Wabash, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Justin, Roger, Kyan (Gabe), Michael (Brooke), Gage, Caleb, Aaron, Kenya, Kalin; five great-grandchildren, Kendra, Allie, Eve, Eli, and Milo. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lisa Schultz who passed in 2017; one brother, Jack Millman; and one sister, Karen Ward.

Per Kay’s request, there will be no services.
