Donna L. Copeland

Donna L. Copeland, 91 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 3:59 a.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Parkview Wabash Hospital in Wabash, Indiana. She was born on June 21, 1933, to Jesse and Lula (Whitsel) Newman in Marshall County, Indiana.

Donna worked at Magnetech in Huntington, Indiana for many years then later retired, and she was also a local waitress as well. She married Max Owen, and he passed away in 2001. She held a membership with Washington Street Wesleyan Church in Wabash, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoyed completing puzzles and going camping. 

Donna is survived by three sons, Larry (Shelley) Owen of Peru, Indiana, Jeff Owen of Wabash, Indiana, Rollie Dickerhoff of Peru, Indiana; one brother, Leroy (Ruth) Newman of Wabash, Indiana; seventeen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Lula Newman; one daughter, Christina Swafford who passed away on November 18, 2023; one son, Michael Dickerhoff; five brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Steve Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the funeral home.
