Anna R. Shelton

Anna R. Shelton, 77, of Marion, Indiana passed away at 12:28 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Marion Health - MGH Campus in Marion, Indiana. She was born on December 3, 1946, to Bill and Lizzie (Hensley) King in Green County, Tennessee.

Anna married her husband Glen Shelton on January 12, 1963. She was a member of the Apostolic Church of Wabash in Wabash, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoyed weeding her garden, attending church activities, getting dressed up, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her son, Jason (Donna) Shelton of Silver Lake, Indiana; two daughters, Tracie Cochran, Shari (David) Greer of Sweetser, Indiana; one sister, Sylvia (Donald) Berryhill of Gas City, Indiana; five grandchildren, Matthew (Tamara) Cochran, Joshua (Elizabeth) Holmes, Brandy (Brittany) Mowery, Alexis Paul, Nate (Taylor) Shelton; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Bill and Lizzie King; husband, Glen Shelton who passed away November 21, 2016; one brother, Marion Bud Dudley; six sisters, Viola Gentry, Virginia Shanks, Beulah and Bunea King, Margaret Berryhill, and Imogene Claflin.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, IN 46992 with Pastor Timothy Gothra officiating. Burial will follow at LaFontaine I.O.O.F Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the funeral home.
