Dluzak

William D. "Bill" Dluzak, 86, Wabash, passed away 9:16 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Wabash County Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Wabash. He was born to Charles H. and Alice H. (Carver) Dluzak on April 29, 1924 in Wabash, Indiana. He married Rosalia L. "Rosie" (Karst) Dluzak on November 19, 1955, she survives. He graduated from Urbana High School in 1942.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash. Also a member of Right To Life, American Life Lobby and American Family Association. Bill Co-Owned a John Deere Dealership with his brother, Chuck in North Manchester, also he was a farmer for many years. He retired in 1991 from the Wabash County Soil and Water Conservation Service after 27 years of service. Bill was a Champion of the 1955 Indiana Contour Plowing Match. He served his country in the United States Army.
Along with his wife, Rosie he is also survived by; three sons, Joe Dluzak (Kathy) of Roanoke, Phil Dluzak of Fort Wayne and John Dluzak (Jenny) of Fort Wayne; four daughters, Pam Dluzak of Fort Wayne, Karla Dluzak of Wabash, Linda (Dave) Luegring of Fort Wayne and Judy Dluzak of Fort Wayne; sister, Martha J. Shoemarker of Wabash and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash, Indiana. Officiating the services will be Father Sextus Don. Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to St. Bernard Catholic Church, The Life Center in Wabash or F.I.S.H. in care of the funeral home.
