Virginia H. Smith, 90, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1932 to Ted and Mary (Cole) Cooper in Buchanna County, Virginia.

Virginia was married to Daniel Barnhill, he passed away, then she married Roland Smith on December 5, 1973. She worked and retired as an LPN at John Hopkins Bayview Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Virginia was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Wabash, Indiana.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Roland Smith of Wabash, Indiana; two sons, Daniel Barnhill of Sparrow Point, Maryland, David Barnhill of Baltimore, Maryland; two daughters, Dale (Tom) Fox of Baltimore, Maryland, Amy Salas of Florida; one brother, Clarence "Doc" (Chris) Cooper of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters, Frances (David) Johnstone of Wabash, Indiana, Ethel Hill of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tracy Barnhill, one daughter, Joyce Dicembre, two brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave. Wabash, Indiana 46992.

Funeral Services will be on 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, Maryland. Burial will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery Baltimore Co., Maryland.

Additional calling hours will be two hours prior to the funeral service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk.
