Ted D. Thoma, 69, Wabash, passed away 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born to the late Ernest C. and Martha B. (VanAnda) Thoma on March 15, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired the construction business as a Operations Engineer. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Bluffton.

He is survived by his companion of 24yrs, Patricia J. Miller of Wabash; brother, Dan Thoma (Lucile) of Markle; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Linda) Ratcliff of Zanesville, Mrs. Tom (Dixie) Walton of Markle, and Kitty Hoopingardner of Springfield, Virginia. He is preceded in death by a sister, Peg Robuck.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor David Phillips. Burial will follow the service in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the funeral home.
