Shirley Angeline Miller, 69, Wabash, passed away 3:40 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Miller Merry Manor in Wabash, Indiana.
She was born to late Frank and Martha (McDonald) Warren in Vandalia, Illinois on August 28, 1940. She married Beryle Miller on May 10, 1986, he survives. Shirley helped the elderly with their daily chores and shopping as her career. She was an avid bingo player, she loved gardening, reading and enjoyed working on puzzles.

She is also survived by three sons, Frank Rife (Melissa) of Fort Wayne, Ted Rife (Kathy) of Wabash and Robert Miller (Joanie) Panama City Beach, Florida; daughter, Rita Staten (Marshall) of Peru; three sisters, Ethel Christian of Houston, Texas, Linda Warren and Rena Warren both of Wabash; brother, Danny Warren (Daisy) of Chesapeake, Ohio; adopted daugther, Bev Elshire of Wabash; six grandchildren, Chad Miller (Angie) and Jason Miller (Angie) both of Panama City Beach, Florida; David Rife of Fort Wayne; Quentin Rife of Wabash; Maria Rife of Fort Wayne and Melony Rife of Muhlheim, Germany; also several nieces and nephews survive. Along with her parents, she was preceded indeath by a son, Carl Rife on November 6, 2005; a brother, James Warren; three sisters, Catherine Burke, Martha Slone and Anna Slone; and a grandson, Jason Rife in 2000.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance. Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Wabash County Cancer Society, P.O. Box 144, North Manchester, Indiana 46962.
