Sharri L. Carpenter, 67, of Wabash, Indiana passed away 3:47 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on April 25, 1946 in Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, George William and Irma E. (Carlson) Sandberg.

She married Paul Brian Carpenter on May 11, 1993, he survives. She is also survived by daughter, Mrs. Richard (Tracy) Green of Mountain City, Tennessee; brother, Kerry Sandberg (Peggy) of Wabash,  Indiana; two sisters, Dona Stout of Elkhart, Indiana and Penny Bouenkerk of California; three grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher and brother, Timothy.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Robert Rensberger officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
