Obituary

Roger D. Clark, 73, LaFontaine, passed away at 5:16 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to the late William H. Clark Sr. and Treva (Garwood) Clark on February 22, 1938 in Adams County, Indiana.

He married Joyce Barnell on June 24, 1962, she passed away December 22, 2010. He was a cook in LaFontaine and Bluffton Restaurants. He served his country in the United States Airforce. He was a member of LaFontaine United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of D.A.V., enjoyed people and doing clown ministry.

He is survived by daughter, Kim Archbold (companion, Steve Lewis) of Bluffton; two brothers Robert L. Clark (Shirley) of Decatur and William H. Clark Jr. of Howe; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death two sisters, along with parents and wife.

Service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at LaFontaine United Methodist Church, 2 W. Kendall Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. Officiating the services will be Rev. Brad Garrett. Burial will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940.
