Robert "Bob" M. Owen, 75, Lagro, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 4:01 am at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Wabash on February 11, 1937 to the late Richard Owen and Martha Messer Prater. He married Linda Shaffer on May 18, 1957. She survives. He attended Wabash Schools and worked at Celetex for 39 years retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Church of God Worship Center on Mill Street in Wabash. Along with his wife, Linda, he is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy McNear of Lagro, and Martha (David) Clark of Columbia City; a brother, Spencer Owen of Corpus Christie, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Dorothy. There will be no services. Burial will be held at a later date.
