Paul L. Edwards, 76, a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana, completed his long journey at 10:54 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was born on August 23, 1941 in Wabash to the late Henry and Juanita (Shoemaker) Edwards.

Paul was a retired factory worker and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Wabash.  He attended Sweetwater Church in North Manchester, Indiana and Potter's House Church in Wabash.

Paul is survived by daughters, Darla (Ed) Hildebrand, Mt. Gilead, Ohio and Christina Anderson, Wabash; son, Paul (Terry) Shoemaker, Michigan; brothers, Henry Nate Edwards and Franklin (Barbara) Edwards both of Wabash; sister, Barbara (Mick) Gatchel, Wabash; thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by daughter, Dawn M. Edwards; granddaughter Duranda Drue Anderson; grandson, Jason Lee Streich and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Pastor Bernice Pickering officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at Gardens of Memory, Huntington, Indiana.
