Paul F. "Buttons" Copeland Sr., 57, of Wabash passed away 4 a.m.  on Monday, June 17, 2013 at his home. He was a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana. He was born on January 19, 1956 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Donald Copeland and Patricia (Berry) Copeland, she survives in Wabash, Indiana.

He was a 1975 graduate of Wabash High School. He married Lisa Coppock on April 21, 1979, she survives. He retired from CMI of Wabash, Indiana. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and F.O.P. Lodge of Wabash, Indiana.

He is also survived by son, Paul Copeland Jr. of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Sarah Copeland-Scott of Wabash, Indiana; two brothers, Arvin Copeland (Annette) of Carmel, Indiana and Roger Copeland (Lorie) of Middlebury, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Greg (Diane) Richards of Wabash, Indiana; granddaughter, Emma Scott and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lena Hoff.

Calling hours will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash,  Indiana 46992. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Career Center Tool & Die Department, 79 South County Road 200 West, Wabash, IN 46992.
