Obituary

Paul A. "Andy" Anderson, 81, Wabash, passed away 9:33 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor West in Wabash. He was born to the late Edward Ted and Ruby Elizabeth (Rau) Anderson on December 9, 1929 in Lagro, Indiana.

He married Charlene A. Hornaday on August 12, 1950 in the St. Patricks Church in Lagro, Indiana; she passed away March 7, 2008. He was a self employed Painting Contractor. He served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Lagro. Also of Moose Lodge 1195 and American Legion Post 15 both of Wabash. Paul enjoyed watching all sports especially the Chicago Cubs and IU Basketball. Celia was his cat and companion.

He is survived by son, Dan (Carolyn) Anderson of Wabash; five daughters, Connie (Jerry) Holmes of Wabash, Pam (Ron)Satrom  of Logansport, Deb Jacobs of Wabash, Bev (Chris) Krom of North Manchester, and Nancy (Mike) Hall  of Wabash; brother, Herbert (Beth) Anderson of North Manchester; 18 grandchildren, Andrea (Dave) Prybis of Eaton, Angie (Bob) Hipp of North Manchester, Jamie (Nikki) Holmes of Wabash, Matthew (Stephanie) Holmes of Wabash, Abbie Huffman (Mark Warrick) of Amarillo, Texas, Josh (Genta) Huffman of Franklin, Texas, Indie Huffman of Amarillo, Texas, Kevin Jacobs of Wabash, Ashly (Jay) Blackburn of Gas City, Andrew Krom of North Manchester, Taylor Krom of Urbana, Derek Hall of North Carolina and Kayla (Bryan) Myers, Casey Hall, David Hall, Adrian Anderson, Brandi Seeley, Jamie Seeley all of Wabash; 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Alan Anderson, granddaughter, Duranda Drue Anderson, two brothers and two sisters.

Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance and granddaughter, Kayla Myers. Burial will follow in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
