Patricia Janet Miller, 96, Wabash, Indiana, a resident of Markle Health and Rehab for the past 5 years, died at 12:33 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017. She was born in Wabash, Indiana on July 9th, 1920 to the late George M. Lawrence and Anna O. (Reynolds) Lawrence.

She was married for 25 years to Raymond H. Shearer of Gas City, Indiana. She married Alfred Tobias Mille, a resident of Ossian, Indiana, who passed away in 1981. Her companion of 24 years, Ted Thoma, he died in 2010.

Also preceded in death were her brother, Cecil Lawrence, sisters Betty McKee, and Gloria Allen. She is survived by 15 nieces and nephews, who knew her as "Aunt Jan". She leaves behind her many wonderful friends and kind, caring staff at Markle Rehab who knew her as "Pat". She was a member of Markle Church of Christ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with no funeral service.
