Novadean Ridenour Hamilton, 72, Richmond, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Kenwood Health and Rehab in Richmond, Kentucky. She was born in Wabash to the late Millard and Bernice (Anson) Ridenour. She graduated from Linlawn High School in 1958. She married Paul Hamilton in 1966; he passed away in 1983.
Novadean had worked in a nursing home and also devoted her life to volunteer work. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, and a former member of Pleasant Valley Rebekah Lodge, Paintsville, KY.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Hamilton of Richmond, KY; a step-son, Terry Hamilton, a step-daughter, Debbie Brackett Beeks, both of Wabash; and many relatives including, David (Sue) Ridenour of Wabash, Dora (Paul) Daniel of Paintsville, KY, and Helen Welch, also of Paintsville, KY.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by an uncle, Orval Anson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, IN 46992, with Joseph Ridenour officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Girl Scouts of America in care of the funeral home.
