Mildred Maxine Deeter, 92, formerly of Somerset, Indiana passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born to the late Phillipp and Olive (Johnson) Dillinger on February 12, 1921 in Green Castle, Indiana. She married Verlin Deeter in December of 1945, he passed away in 1994.

She is survived by two step sons, Ronald "Bud" Deeter and Joe Deeter (Sharon) both of Wabash, Indiana; brother, Wayne Dillinger (Wilma Mae) of Arkansas; two daughter in laws, Laureen Deeter of Wabash, Indiana and Isabelle Lewis of Lagro, Indiana; 14 step grandchildren and 26 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two step sons, Max Deeter and Ben Deeter, a brother and sister.

A Private family service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Ken Goble officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.
