Melissa Jane Cooper, 62, Wabash, passed away 9:30 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2012 in her home. She was born to the late Ivan and Janet Louise (Daugherty) Cooper on August 8, 1949 in Wabash, Indiana. She worked at Autumn Ridge Healthcare Center in Wabash. She really enjoyed traveling, including her trip to England and trips to Italy. Her great joys in life were family gatherings and her family. She is survived by two brothers, Byron Cooper (Deborah) of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan and Tony Cooper (Jeanie) of Wabash; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Cooper of Chicago, Andrew Cooper of East Boston, Mass., Carrie Brunson (Andrew) of Elkhart, and Candice Cooper of Wabash; great nephew, A.J. Brunson; and her Aunt Betty Bruny of Monroe, Wisconsin. Graveside Service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance.
