Obituary

Mazie Helene Hussey, 88, LaFontaine, passed away 3:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
She was born to the late William Henry and Daisy Burnette (Tyner) Dillion on July 14, 1921 in Banquo, Indiana. She graduated from Banquo High School in 1940 and also attended Indiana Business College. She married Sidney Earl Hussey on January 1, 1945, he passed away on December 16, 1995. She was a homemaker, a member of Banquo Christian Church and Banquo Women's Extension Club. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.

She is survived by a son, Sidney Alan Hussey (Norma) of Andrews; two daughters, Betty Ann Floyd (David) of Chattanooga, TN and Patsy Jo Quintero (PJ) of LaFontaine; five grandchildren, Koti Quintero of Jalapa, Stacy (Bill) James of Converse, David Lee Hussey of Taos, New Mexico, Janice Floyd and Rebecca Floyd of Atlanta, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Ally, Sidney, and Will James all of Converse. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Ralph Dillion and four sisters, Opal Rohrer, Ruby Dillion, Garnet Perkins and Edna Hemig.
Services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana. Officiating the services will be Pastor Gary Riley. Burial will be in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Banquo Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
