Mary E. Rowe, 88, of Wabash County, Indiana passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born to Dwight and Catherine (Moon) Ridenour on February 23, 1937, in Wabash County, Indiana.

Mary was a 1955 graduate of Noble Township High School of Wabash County. She then furthered her education receiving a Stenographic Degree from Marion Business College. She married Russell Rowe in her parent's home on November 18, 1961. He passed away on April 12, 2018. Mary worked as a sales clerk for Meis and Elder-Beerman in Marion before retiring. She loved to play the piano in her home and also in her church.

Mary is survived by four sons, James (Janet) McWhirt of Sweetser, Indiana, John (Ramona) Rowe of Peru, Indiana, Jeff (Chrissy) Rowe of Huntington, Indiana, Jerry Rowe of LaFontaine, Indiana; three daughters, Marsha (Gary) Kratzer of LaFontaine, Indiana, Kathy Smith of Marion, Indiana, Margaret (Stephen) Magnuson of Indianapolis, Indiana; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Sue) Ridenour of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida; three sisters, Elizabeth Mendez of Davie, Florida, Lois Ridenour of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rebecca (John) Rambo of Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Joseph and Phillip Ridenour, and one sister, Dorothy Ridenour.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Rev. Jim Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
