Mary Pauline Shalley, 89, Wabash, passed away 6:55 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash.

She was born to the late Russell and Nina (Dodgson) Purdy on April 16, 1921 in Wabash, Indiana. She was a 1940 graduate of Wabash High School. She married Virgil "Woody" Shalley on June 13, 1941, he passed away August 11, 1949. She was a former member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Shalley (Pamela) of Kokomo and Phil Shalley of Silver Lake; a daughter, Mrs. David (Sue) Ridenour of Wabash; three granddaughters, Mrs. Michael (Julie) Perea of Ann Arbor, MI, Mrs. Joshua (Adrienne) Naibauer of North Manchester, Indiana and Erin Shalley of Winona Lake; a grandson, Kelby (Keri) Ridenour of Portland, OR; and four great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two great grandchildren and a brother, Robert.

There will be No Services.

Burial will be at a later date in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Huntington County, Indiana.
