Mary E. Jefferson, 88, passed away at 4:05 am on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor-East in Wabash. She was born on November 16, 1922 in Virginia.

She married Dean Jefferson, he preceded her in death. She worked at Honeywell Foundry in Wabash and also was a secretary at the Vocational School in Wabash.

She is survived by, Bill Jefferson; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Hettmansperger on December 26, 2008, along with her parents and husband. She was a member of Friends Church in Wabash.

Graveside Services will be 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana, where is will be laid to rest. Pastor David Phillips.
