L. Pearl Floyd Jervis, 94, LaFontaine, passed away 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. She was born to the late Basil and Nina (Burch) Weesner on September 17, 1916 in Morrison, Tennessee.

She married Cecil Floyd on July 17, 1934, he passed away in January of 1975; then married Donald Jervis in June of 1987, he passed away in March of 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of Banquo Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Phillip Floyd of LaFontaine, Larry Floyd (Sharon) of Herps, Gene Floyd (Sandy) of LaFontaine, and David Floyd (Betty) of Chattanoga, Tennessee; daughter,  Mrs. David (Caroline) Bowman of Wabash; three step sons, Don Jervis (Linda) of LaFontaine, Larry Jervis (Lois) of Fort Wayne, and Bob Jervis of Warren; two step daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Nancy) Campbell of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Ralph (Margie) Banner of LaFontaine; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a great grandchild.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, Indiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gary Riley. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
