LeRoy "Bud" G. Fierstos, 74, of North Manchester, Indiana, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Wabash, Indiana on June 28, 1943 to LeRoy G. and Miriam (Weitzel) Fierstos, Sr.

Bud was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Wabash, Indiana. He was a 1961 graduate from Wabash High School and afterwards served in the United States Air Force.  He worked for over thirty years at Container Corporation, Wabash, Indiana before retiring.

He is survived by his mother, Miriam; sons, Michael David Fierstos, and Richard Fierstos, both of Redmond, Oregon; brothers, Daniel (Penny) Fierstos, North Manchester, Indiana and Donald (Tawana) Fierstos, Auburn, Pennsylvania; sisters, Beverlee (David) Whitaker, Wabash, Indiana, Melissa (Robert) Love, Abbeville, South Carolina and Melinda Fierstos, Marion, Indiana and six grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 North Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana, with Father Sextus Don officiating the service. Burial at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash, Indiana will be at a later date.
