Obituary

Kenneth H. Burnworth, 95, a lifetime resident of Wabash, passed away 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor of Wabash. He was born in Wabash, Indiana on May 11, 1915.

He married Margaret (Brown) Benson-Burnworth, she survives. He was formerly married to Betty Janet (Alexander) Burnworth on May 16, 1946, she passed away October 4, 2005. He worked at Wabash Electric and was owner and operator of Hills Dale Trailer Park in Wabash. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Wabash and attended College Corner Brethren Church in Wabash. Kenneth served his country in the United States Army during WWII.

Along with his wife, Margaret; he is survived by step son, Kenneth Benson (Chris) of Wabash; step daughters, Mary Cornett (Paul) of Wabash, Carol Sweet (Don) of Converse and Janie Hayslett (Clyde) of Wabash; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Betty and two brothers.

Services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Jim Black. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory in Grant County, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1p.m until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
