Kenneth "Andy" Beckman

Kenneth "Andy" Beckman, 79, of Wabash, Indiana, passed away at 7:52 a.m. at his residence, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. He was born on November 21, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was raised by his adoptive parents, Wally and Ruth Beckman.

Andy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Green Beret in the Army Special Forces. He was a member of the Laketon Wesleyan Church where he also served as a board member.  Andy loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature, leading him to work as an Interpretive Park Ranger at Vogel State Park in Georgia

Andy is survived by his sister, Bev Burlington of Decatur, Illinois; two nephews, Chris Penisten of Wabash, Indiana, and Rex Betts of Southern California. He is preceded in death by his parents. 

Graveside services will be held at Falls Cemetery with Pastor Duncan Prior officiating.
