Joyce A. (Barnell) Clark, 70, LaFontaine, passed away 6:29 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born to the late Raymond A. and Josephine (Garton) Barnell on February 6, 1940 in Wells County, Indiana. She was formerly from Bluffton, Indiana.

She was a Chester Center High School graduate of 1958 and attended Ivy Tech College. She married Roger D. Clark on June 24, 1962, he survives in LaFontaine, Indiana. She was a member of LaFontaine United Methodist Church in LaFontaine, Indiana. She enjoyed cross stitching and singing for the Lord. Joyce retired from USDA FSA Farm Service Agency after 20 years.

Along with her husband, Roger; she is survived by a daughter, Kim Archbold (companion, Steve Lewis) of Bluffton; grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew, Coultin and Mariah all of Bluffton; brother, David L. Barnell of Bluffton.

Service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010 at LaFontaine United Methodist Church, 2 Kendall Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940 with one hour calling prior to the service. Officiating the services will be Pastor Brad Garrett. Burial will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. Preferred memorials are to LaFontaine United Methodist Church Building Fund or Rolling Meadows Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
