John E. "Butch" Wilcox, 72, of Wabash, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Wellbrooke of Wabash. He was born to the late John Fredrick and Helen (Widmyer) Wilcox on September 3, 1942 in Urbana, Indiana.

He graduated from Urbana High School in 1960. John married Patricia "Pat" Jean Bott on August 15, 1966, she survives. He was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters. He was avid fisherman.

John is also survived by his children, Daniel Lee Wilcox (Marian) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pamela Jean Driscoll (Daniel) and Terri Lynn Wendt both of Wabash, Nancy Anne Reynolds of Marion, Indiana and DeWayne Eugene Wilcox of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Mildred "Millie" Ann Davis of Wabash, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandchild and brother.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
