Jo Anne "Nana" Herrell, 86 of Wabash passed away 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born to the late Edward Schlegelmilch and Evelyn (Netzler) Schlegelmilch-Curtis. She graduated in 1944 from Wabash High School. She retired for Gen Corp in 1988 after 33 years. She enjoyed playing bingo at Knights of Columbus and at holidays with her family. Nana loved all of her dogs, cats and her family. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Overholser of Clarksville, Tennessee and Mrs. Robert (Sherry) Earhart of Wabash, Indiana; four grandchildren, Mrs. Matt (Brandy) Dillon of Wabash, Indiana, Mrs. Troy (Bethany) Daniel of Clarksville, Tennessee, Mrs. Kevin (Amanda) Richardson of Wabash, Indiana, and Paul Martin Overholser (Jackie) of Clarksville, Tennessee; seven great grandchildren, Benjamin and Mason Dillon, Kailynn and Kale Richardson, Lexie and Ethan Daniel, and Abram Overholser. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Paul Eugene Overholser. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Cremation will follow.
