Jesse "Jack" M. Miller, 97, passed away at 2:11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana. He was born to the late H. Vern and J. Gladys (Craig) Miller on May 20, 1916 in  Silver Lake, Indiana.

He married Beatrice Altemar on June 26, 1948, she survives. He retired from General Tire after 43 years, then worked at the Wabash County Museum for 14 years. He was a United States Naval Veteran. He was a former member of Wabash Christian Church.

He is also s urvived by a son, Bruce R. Miller. He is preceded in death by a son.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Peabody Chapel in North Manchester, Indiana , with Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Calling hours for family and friends will be one hour prior the service at the Peabody Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
