Jerry Joe Haynes, 75, Wabash, passed away 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born to the late Paul and Evelyn (Brown) Shoults on May 20, 1935 in Wabash, Indiana. He was a carpenter for 40 years of his life. A was a lifetime resident of Wabash. He married Brenda Blankenship on February 3, 1999, she survives.
Along with his wife, Brenda, he is also survived by a son, Terry Haynes (Shauna) of Wabash; six daughters, Myra Parker (Bob) of Wabash, Kay Breedlove (Pat) of N.C., Paula Haynes of Wabash, Donna Reed (Randy) of Huntington, Evelyn Rose (Jim) of Wabash and Deanna King (Chuck) of Marion; a step daughter, Linda McMinn of Marion; two step sons, Robert McMinn and David McMinn of Marion; sister, Elaine Duhamell (Pete) of Wabash; fourteen grandchildren, four step grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Vanessa Pierson.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Mark Whinery. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
