Janet R. Schmidt, 75, of Wabash, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019.  She was born in Buckingham, Florida on March 5, 1944, to the late John H. and Mary Ann (Biggs) Craig.

Janet married Enno Schmidt on November 19, 1961.  She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wabash.

Janet is survived by her husband, Enno, of Wabash; one son, Bradly W. Schmidt, of Wabash; one daughter, Becky Bolinger, of Kokomo; one sister, Sheryl Craig, of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 South Wabash Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Dr. Kent Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery, Somerset.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service starting at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
