Jack R. Gidley, 76, a lifetime resident of Wabash, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Peabody Retirement Community.  Jack was born on May 29, 1943, in Wabash, to the late Truman (Mary Jane) Gidley and Helen Harden Gidley.

Jack served in the United States Navy.  He was retired from Ford Meter Box of Wabash.

Jack is survived by his son, Keith (Veronica) Gidley, of Wabash; daughters, Amber Holley, of Wabash and Kim (Steve) Hively, of Somerset; brother, Dave (Pat) Gidley, of Madison, Indiana; sister, Joann Cavins, of North Manchester and seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Gidley.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, IN  46992 with Pastor David Phillips officiating.

Calling hours for friends and family will be two hours prior to service, starting at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Wabash American Legion, Post 15 or VFW Post 286 Honor Guard.
