Imogene Porter, 74, of Wabash, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:52 p.m. at Parkview Wabash Hospital.  She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Evelyn (Rice) Creech on August 16, 1943.

Imogene married John Porter in December of 1993; he survives.  Imogene worked for 30 years at J. Lewis and Small Company in Elwood.  She was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Wabash.

Along with her husband, Imogene is survived by three sons, Timothy McClish, and Larry McClish both of Frankton, Indiana, and Robert Kelly, Fishers, Indiana; two step-sons John J. (Karen) Porter and Dennis Porter, both of Somerset; two step-daughters, Janet Porter and Judy (Ron) Bradford, both of Warren, Indiana; one brother, Troy (Sherri) Creech, Elwood, Indiana and Seventeen grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Ann Light; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be at Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Indiana. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
