Harry Oliver McKay, 94, LaFontaine, passed away at 11:16 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana. He was born to the late Robert David and Edith Agnus (Deary) McKay on March 20, 1917 in Turkey, Arkansas.

He was a graduate from LaFontaine High School. He married Naomi Rose Draper on November 24, 1958, she preceded him in death on May 19, 2004. He was a member of LaFontaine United Methodist Church.  He retired from Marion Veteran Hospital in 1982. He was a member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

He is survived by several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by five brothers.

Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940. Officiating the services will be Rev. Brad Garrett. Burial will follow in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana 46940.
