Glenda E. (Baer) Jones, 86, Wabash, passed away 1:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana.

She was born to the late Forrest G. and Eva Sara (Cripe) Baer in Urbana, Indiana on October 13, 1923. Glenda was a graduate from Wabash High School. She married Wallace "Wally" Jones on May 19, 1946, he passed away March 9, 2008. She was a homemaker, cashier at Clarks Grocery in Wabash and also worked at Honeywell during the war. She was a member of the Wabash Presbyterian Church. Also a member of Eastern Star of Wabash and American Legion Auxiliary of Wabash.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Marian) Denney of Wabash, Mrs. Ralph (Nancy) Flowers of Muncie, and Mrs. Gary (Patty) Glass of Wabash; a brother, Don Baer "Dobber" (Barb) of Warren; two sisters, Lola Glazier of Wabash and Mrs. Ray (Anna Lee) Christle of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, one step grandson and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Laura Helms. Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Wabash County Cancer Society or Wabash Presbyterian Church.
