Georgia Faye Engelman, 74, of Wabash passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home.  She was born on June 24, 1943 in Wabash to the late Aaron Proffitt and Dorothy Johnson Proffitt Drook.

Georgia was a 1961 graduate of Noble High School and married K Peter Engelman in Wabash on July 14, 1961; he preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed her garden, especially her flowers.  She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Dora Christian Church.

Georgia is survived by her son, Roger Engelman of Wabash and daughter Faye (Phil) Maslowski of Valparaiso.  She was also blessed with two grandchildren, Natalie Barr, Indianapolis and Chelsea (Dustin) Nickles of Wabash; two great-grandsons, Xander and Liam and great-granddaughter, Kerigan. She has two brothers surviving, Aaron Boyd Proffitt, Arcadia, Florida and Charles Dennis Proffitt of Wabash.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana with Minister Mark Wisniewski officiating.  Burial will follow at LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana.  Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
