Geneva Ileen Haynes, 94, LaFontaine, passed away 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at her son's home in Gas City, Indiana. She was born to the late Clifford F. and Ersell (Reed) Skinner on June 5, 1916 in Marion, Indiana. She was a 1930 graduate from Sweetser High School. She married Virgil K. Haynes on April 26, 1936, he passed away February, 28, 1997. She was a loving housewife.

She is survived by a son, Pawnee Haynes of Gas City; grandson, Daren D. Haynes of Greencastle; two brothers, Richard Skinner and Ronnie Skinner both of Meir; sister-in-law, Helen Skinner of Marion. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Jim Skinner and her loving step mother, Nellie Skinner.

Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana. Burial will follow the service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Guy Provance. Preferred memorials are to Family Hospice, 705 S. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
