Gary R. Walters Jr., 42, formerly of Wabash, passed away at his home in Peru on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was born in Wabash on March 18, 1968 to Gary (Diana) Walters of Marion, and the late Sandra Price Cora. He graduated in 1986 from Northfield High School.

Gary loved to play paintball with his friends. He enjoyed playing softball and had previously been a coach for children and a women's league. He was a former Lagro Jaycee.

Along with his father and stepmother, he is survived by one sister, Milinda Raddenbach of Marion, IN; 3 brothers, Paul Oates of Peru, IN, John Adkins of Roann, In, and Dan Ritter of  Peru, IN; 4 stepbrothers; Kevin Campbell, Dewayne Campbell, both of Huntington, IN, Steve Bragg of Fairmount, IN, and Stan Bragg of Marion, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service honoring his life will be on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:30 am at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, with calling hours from 9:30am until the service begins. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
