Frank E. "Cranker" Longfellow, 54, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at his home in Wabash.

He was born to the late Robert E. Longfellow and GeraldineWhisnant of Marine City, Michigan on April 2, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. He married Alice Cooper on August 20, 1990, she survives. Frank served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Church of Christ in Wabash. Also he was a retired member of the Milkwaukee Iron Motorcycle Club.

Along with his mother, Geraldine and wife, Alice; he is also survived by a son, Justin Longfellow of Italy; daughter, Robin McClanhan (Shawn) of Denver; step daughter, Shelley Shepler (Brad) of Wabash; brother, Dale Longfellow of Marine City, Michigan; sister, Shelia Furtah of Marine City, Michigan; three grandchildren,  four step grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Wabash Church of Christ,  1904 N. Wabash Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Preferred memorials are to Wabash County Cancer Society.
