Obituary

Evelyn Bernice "Dumplin" Sanders, 91, a lifetime resident of Wabash County, passed away 11:37 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor East in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Jacob C. and Ada (Burnworth) Kerr on May 29, 1919 in Lagro, Indiana.

She married Clyde A. "Apple" Sanders on February 17, 1941, he passed away January 5, 2011. She was a homemaker, a member of Church of Christ at Treaty, and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 15 of Wabash, Indiana. Her hobbies included crocheting, crafting and dancing.

She is survived by a son, Dwayne Sanders (Joyce) of Wabash; daughter, Mrs. James (Sally Jo) Adams of Huntington; sisters, Maxine Novack and Delores Tait both of Wabash; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance. Burial will follow in the Memorial Lawns in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for the family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Riley's Children Hospital in care of the funeral home. Online Condolences may be sent to the family  at www.mcdonaldfunerals.com
