Eric K. Hoefer, 60 of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 5:44 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to the late Frederick and Mary Ann (Cowen) Hoefer on February 1, 1952 in Wabash, Indiana. He was a former employee of ARC and he volunteered at Vernon Manor Children's Home of Wabash, Indiana. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash, Indiana. He is survived by three brothers, James K. Hoefer (Debora)of Wabash, Indiana, Frederick "Fritz" Hoefer (Fiona) of New Albany, Ohio, and Robinson Hoefer (Sylvia) of Noblesville, Indiana; sister, Mrs. Louis (Mary Anne) Rohan of Gilmore, Indiana; four nephews, Sean Hoefer  (Julia) of Wabash, Indiana, Christopher Hoefer (Yuri) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Luke Hoefer of Noblesville, Indiana, and James "Gus" Hoefer of New Albany, Ohio and two nieces, Mrs. Michael (Heather Ann) Bragg of Bluffton, South Carolina and Rogan Ann Hoefer of New Albany, Ohio. Mass of a Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 N. Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana 46992, with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will follow in Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana 46992. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992, Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m..
