Earlene (Snow) Smith, 82, Wabash, formerly of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Autumn Ridge Health Care Center in Wabash.

She was born to the late Homer(1976) and Bernice (Woolridge-1990) Snow on June 5, 1928 in Maxville, Arkansas. She graduated from Swifton Arkansas in 1948. She married Edward M. Smith on January 1, 1947, he passed away in 2004. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by son, Edward M. Smith Jr. (Terri) of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Bud (Clara) Siegfred of Wabash and Patty Shipper of Wabash; four grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Michael Ferrell, Christopher Smith and Jennifer; and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Linda Ferrell in 1998, grandson, Timothy Ferrell and brother, Carl Snow in 1981.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville, Indiana on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Officiating the services will be Pastor Tim Prater. Preferred memorials are to Christian Heritage Church, 2776 River Road, Wabash, Indiana 46992.
