Deloris Tait, 83, Wabash, passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor in Wabash, Indiana. She was born to the late Jacob and Ada (Burnsworth) Kerr on August 27, 1928 in Wabash, Indiana.

She married E. Eugene Tait on October 26, 1945, he passed away on December 24, 1990. She worked at the Wabash Middle School Cafeteria and was a homemaker.

She is survived by son, Ed Tait (Edna) of Wabash; daughter, Mary Miley of Wabash; and sister, Maxine Novac of Wabash; five grandchildren, Mrs. Tony (Melinda) Adams of Wabash, Deanna Bowman of Wabash, Tony Bowman (Angie) of Wabash, Ryan Tait (Rachel) of West Alexandria, Ohio and Jason Tait of Bloomington; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor David Phillips. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
