Dan Randy Lee McNear, 58, Lagro, passed away 8:30 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana.

He was born to the late Leonard Valard McNear and Mildred A. (Hamby) McNear Teerling on July 24, 1952 in Manchester, Tennessee. He was a self employed Mechanic. He served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by the love of his life, Dorothy Owen for 32yrs; son, Fred Michael Delong (Lorri) Tuscumbia, AL; daughters, Jessica Campbell (Matthew), Beth Goodman and Bobbie Owen all of Lagro; two brothers Wayne McNear (Maxine) of Adams, TN and Mike McNear of Florence, AL; two sisters, Joann Delong (Fred) and Wilma Jean Frontini both of Adams, TN; fifteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda LaMar and Mary Elizabeth McNear, along with his parents.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the service will be Pastor Charlie Osborn. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. until time of service on Friday, December 10th at the funeral home.
