Obituary

Chester Lee "Butch" Skinner, 63, Huntington, formerly of Wabash, passed away 8:50 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born to Chester Lee Skinner Sr of North Venice, Florida and the late Mary Agnes (Benzer) Skinner on March 7, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana. He graduated from Pendleton High School. He married to Alice A. Spradlin on May 19, 1978, she passed away August 21, 2006.

Butch served his country in the United States Navy, during Vietnam War. He was a member of Church of Nazarene on Manchester Avenue in Wabash. Also a member of VFW Post 286, Fraternal Order of Police and Wabash Eagles Lodge all of Wabash.

Along with his father, Chester Sr. he is survived by son, Timothy Skinner of Deerfield, Ohio; daughters, Rose King (Daniel) of Andrews and Sierra Skinner of Huntington; sisters, Mary Lee Leland of Pheonix, Arizonia and Vicky Learned of Muncie; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.
